Michael D. Leader
MICHAEL D. LEADER received his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University
as a Goodwin Scholar in 2000 and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
(Finance & Economics) from the University of Florida in 1997. He is
licensed to practice in State and Federal Court. Mr. Leader is a former
Assistant State Attorney and has significant courtroom and trial experience.
He is also a licensed nursing home administrator and has many years of
experience in the nursing home arena. Mr. Leader concentrates his practice
in the areas of Nursing Home/Medical Malpractice Defense, Criminal Law,
Commercial Litigation, General Insurance Defense and Personal Injury (excluding
medical malpractice and nursing home plaintiff’s claims). He serves
on the Board of Directors of the B'nai Brith Justice Unit, and is a member
of the Defense Research Institute, Florida Defense Lawyers Association,
and the Stephen R. Booher American Inn of Court. Mr. Leader is published
as a contributing author in the book “Private Practice, What You
Don’t Learn As A Resident”.
